Mental expo is an exploration of the mind and the self through physical theatre, dance and acrobatics. The play handles themes such as trauma and mental health with compassion, understanding and playful humour.

The socially excluded protagonist is suddenly swept into the ‘real world’, a world far away from the safety of their home, filled with competition, productivity goals and over-stimulated sleepless nights. On their journey, the protagonist goes through Mental Expo – an interactive exhibition where they find a familiar life story that brings up memories of the past, of people, and of abnormal circumstances.
