Aulikki Oksanen is a renowned writer, poet, artist, singer, songwriter and even film star. In Jyväskylä Festival Oksanen performs with her friend and long-time collaborator Vuokko Hovatta.

The concert provides a special opportunity to hear Oksanen’s beloved poetry performed both by the poet herself and Hovatta. In addition, the concert features classic compositions by Kaj Chydenius, as well as newer music composed for Hovatta by Kerkko Koskinen and Tuure Kilpeläinen.
